History

In the summer of 2003, a group of musicians and
singers gathered together and pooled their talents in a
benefit program to provide financial support for
tornado victims in the Lewis County (Kentucky) area.

The call was made to regional musicians and singers,
and the response was so great that a fast-moving,
"homecoming-style" format was designed to create a
loaded-with-talent, something-for-everyone gospel
program. That first concert was enthusiastically
received, and we realized that the call we were
responding to was still there, urging us to do what we
could to help others in our community.

From Wilma Insko's initial impulse to stage a one-time
event to help neighbors recover from a catastrophic event,
our group is now performing six concerts
per year, benefitting a wide range of worthwhile
organizations in northern Kentucky and southern Ohio.
